Meet Eric Ruth
Your lawyer:
Navy Vet.
Family man.
A lot on your plate? Same here.
My wife and I are part of a professional family. We’re both small business owners, we run a nonprofit, and we’re both athletes. We know what it’s like to have a full life and lots of people counting on us.
That’s why I want your planning to fit into real life...your life.
Come say hello
Life beyond work
I was born and raised in Anaheim, California. I grew up playing sports, did well in school, and joined the military at 18, just before 9/11. After the military, I worked a variety of jobs while continuing my education before finding my calling as an advocate. I came to Michigan for law school and haven’t found a reason to leave yet. A competitive spirit and a drive for excellence have shaped my life, serving me well in the military and throughout my legal career.
After a decade practicing in probate court, I’ve seen firsthand the strain that missing or poorly prepared estate plans can put on families. Those experiences led me to focus on helping families plan ahead. Today, my goal is to help you protect what you’ve built, provide for your loved ones, plan for your business, and avoid unnecessary court involvement whenever possible.
Outside of work, faith, family, and friends rule my life. I still enjoy playing sports, but I also love spending as much time as I can exploring Michigan and the world with my family. My true mistress is writing.
