How it works

Useful education. A manageable lift for you.

01

Choose a time that works for the crew.

Tell us about your team and discuss the session format and timing before anything is scheduled.

02

Share an invitation.

Employees decide whether to attend. You don’t need to hand over a roster or collect their family information.

03

Let interested employees take the next step.

They can use the private check-in or contact the firm. Any legal work is their separate decision.

For field crews and small teams

Let people start
at their own pace.

Ask about fitting a session around a crew meeting or another existing gathering. We’ll discuss what is practical for your team; submitting a request does not reserve a date.

A simple invitation

Michigan Trust offers a free estate-planning education session for Michigan residents. Learn about wills, powers of attorney, healthcare decision-makers and when a trust may or may not fit. Participation is optional. Any private legal work is separately scoped and priced. Explore the family check-in at https://www.mitrustfirm.com/family-planning.

Before you decide

What your team
may want to know.

What does this cost the employer?

There is no charge to host the pilot education session. No subscription, payroll deduction or employer-funded legal work is included.

Is this a prepaid legal benefit?

No. This starts as an education offering with voluntary access to the firm. A formal or employer-paid legal benefit requires a separate arrangement and review.

What will employees be asked to share?

The group session is for general questions. Private family details belong in a separate attorney conversation. The check-in requests only broad topics and contact details.

Are tree-service teams a fit?

Yes. The content is about everyday family planning. We can discuss a format that works around your crew’s schedule, without asking employees to discuss their circumstances at work.
